Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician, Samini has expressed his interest in working with International Ghanaian Reggae artistes, Rocky Dawuni and Black Prophet.
He described these International Ghanaian Reggae artistes as individuals who have paid their dues as far as Reggae is concerned and therefore, he wishes to work with them eventually.
“I would love to work with musicians like Rocky Dawuni and Black Prophet because as far as Reggae music is concerned, these two have really paid their dues” he said.
Samini, real name Emmanuel Andrew Samini, who already hinted releasing a Reggae album early this year, reiterated that his album is still in the offing and would be solely focused on the “Samini” persona.
According to him, he might not feature any artistes on the upcoming album.
“I would be releasing a Reggae album soon… However, I want the upcoming album to be focused on me. Don’t be surprised if I don’t feature any artiste on it“, the High Grade Family frontline act disclosed to Kwame Bee on Kasapa FM’s ‘Di Wu Lane Mu’ Show.
